Our Work Around Lake Tahoe

NoTriangle Studio is a strategic visualization partner for developers, architects, and agents on both sides of the lake. At Clear Creek Tahoe we built the full pre-sales package for a Whisper Homes estate, renderings, a cinematic animation, a VR tour, a property website, and floor plans, and the home sold for more than $12 million while still under construction, a record-setting residential sale for Northern Nevada outside the Tahoe Basin. In Incline Village we rendered 122 Pine Cone Road, a mountain-modern rebuild marketed before it was finished, and in Tahoe Vista we produced the marketing package for Alpine View Estates, 25 lakeside residences for Compass and Alpine Corporation.

On the West Shore we produced the renderings JMA Ventures and Discovery Land Company used in Placer County design review for the first phase of North Base homes at Homewood Mountain Resort. Across all four, the job was the same: show buyers and reviewers a mountain home they could believe, with the real light, the real trees, and only the views the site really has.

Why NoTriangle Studio in Lake Tahoe

At Tahoe the setting is the product. A buyer is paying for the lake, the pines, and the view from a specific room, often before the house exists. We build the visuals to show all three honestly.

Proven at the top of the market

Our Clear Creek Tahoe renderings, animation, and VR tour carried a listing to a sale of more than $12 million before the home was finished. We know what a Tahoe buyer at that level expects to see, because we have built it.

Honest mountain views

A Tahoe buyer is paying for the view, so we never invent one. On Pine Cone Road the Sierra backdrop appears only where it is truly visible, and on Clear Creek the listing agent had us remove a view the real sightline did not support.

Built for remote buyers

Many Tahoe buyers are Silicon Valley executives, investors, and second-home owners who decide from somewhere else. Renderings, animation, and a VR tour let them judge proportions, finishes, and views without walking a site that is still under construction.

Real site, real light

We match our cameras to drone photography of your site in height, angle, and lens, as we did for the Alpine View Estates aerial, so the lake, the forest, and the light belong to the actual lot.

Ready for review boards

Tahoe projects answer to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the counties around the lake. For Homewood we kept buildings below the tree canopies and planting true to the landscape architect’s schedule, so reviewers could believe the images.

One file set from many teams

Resort and townhome projects arrive from several consultants at once. On Homewood we reconciled files from six design teams into one model, and on Alpine View we collected the architect and civil engineer files so the Compass team never had to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have you worked on Lake Tahoe projects?+

Yes. Our Lake Tahoe work includes Clear Creek, a Clear Creek Tahoe estate that sold for more than $12 million before completion, a record-setting residential sale for Northern Nevada outside the Tahoe Basin; Alpine View Estates, a 25-residence townhome development in Tahoe Vista for Compass and Alpine Corporation; 122 Pine Cone Road, a mountain-modern rebuild in Incline Village; and the Phase 1 North Base residences at Homewood Mountain Resort for JMA Ventures and Discovery Land Company.

Do you work on both the California and Nevada sides of the lake?+

Yes. On the Nevada side we have rendered homes in Incline Village and at Clear Creek Tahoe. On the California side we have rendered townhomes in Tahoe Vista on the north shore and resort residences at Homewood on the West Shore. We also take on projects in Truckee, Martis Valley, South Lake Tahoe, and Reno.

Can renderings help sell a Tahoe home before it is finished?+

Yes. The Clear Creek estate was marketed with renderings, an animation, a VR tour, a property website, and floor plans while it was under construction, and it sold for more than $12 million before completion. At 122 Pine Cone Road the renderings were the listing’s only picture of the finished house, because there were no completed rooms to photograph.

Can you produce renderings for TRPA or county design review?+

Yes. For Homewood Mountain Resort we produced the six renderings JMA Ventures and Discovery Land Company used in Placer County design review for the first phase of North Base homes, built to the architect’s design-review elevations with the buildings kept below the tree canopies. The resort’s amended master plan was later approved by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency in January 2025.

Do you need to visit the site?+

No. We work from your drawings and from photography of the site. For Alpine View Estates we matched our cameras to the client’s drone photography, for Homewood we wrote a drone-capture guideline so the developer’s photographers could shoot matching plates, and on Clear Creek the listing agent supplied site photographs so the views behind the windows were the real ones.

How do you keep mountain views accurate in a rendering?+

We show only what a buyer would really see. At Pine Cone Road, at nearly 7,000 feet, we used native plantings and placed the Sierra backdrop only in the views where it is visible. On Clear Creek, when one image showed a mountain view the real sightline did not support, the agent asked us to remove it, and we did.

Do you have a Lake Tahoe office?+

No. Our US office is in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we work fully remote with developers, architects, and agents around the lake. Every Tahoe project on this page was delivered that way, with white-model previews, structured review rounds, and a single point of contact.

How much do 3D renderings cost for a Lake Tahoe project?+

It depends on the scope, the number of views, and whether you need animation or VR, so we confirm pricing on a short discovery call once we understand what the images need to do. We do not quote flat per-image rates.
